The sopranos is arguably the greatest television show of all time. It has lasted six seasons before finally deciding there would be no more filming anymore in 2008. A lot of the cast seem pretty upset over it but happy with the success the show has actually had. It is to me the greatest mobster television series of all time. It also rivals top movies such as Goodfellas and Casino.
Tony Soprano runs a New Jersey mobster family. He has to take everything into account and what the implications of actions will be with the other mob families in New Jersey and New York. The show is violent but its loved by a lot of honest and loyal fans. So much so that the show has its own large website dedicated to fans and it is increasingly popular.
The show is full of great actors. Such as Eddie Falco, Jamie Sagler and a lot of other big names. If you have not watched it then it is something worth watching. Make sure you get the entire series, put the popcorn on and watch it for days straight. It is such a good show that if you have not seen it, you have to as soon as you can.
Hopefully they will release an official movie in the near future. I think it would be edge of the seat viewing and it would be extremely good for all the loyal fans to have something new to look out for since the television show is not going ahead anymore.
